Hardware Jobs is a Job website brought to you by Hardware Association Ireland (HAI). By subscribing to receive job alerts, apply for jobs online and submitting your CV, you are sharing your data with potential employers. By registering and submitting your details as an employer to advertise job vacancies, you are sharing your data with potential candidates.
This Privacy Policy outlines your rights, the information HAI may collect about you in general and through the website (hardwarejobs.ie), and how HAI uses this information. HAI is the data controller of data gathered via the website, and our Data Protection Officer can be contacted at info@hardwareassociation.ie.

We will not collect any personal data apart from that which you volunteer, for example,

- By completing a job registration form (goes directly to employer)
- By registering your online CV on the website (displayed on the website upon approval by Admin)
- By completing an online inquiry form
- Employer:
- By completing an online inquiry form
- By registering your company details to the website for view by job seekers
- By registering your job vacancy details
Non-personal information
The website gathers statistical and other analytical information on an aggregate and non-individual specific basis of all visitors who visit the website. This information provides general and not individually specific information such as the number of people who visit the website; the number of people who return to the website; what browser they use; keywords used in search engines; search terms used; and where they were before they came to the website.
How is personal information being used?
HAI will process any personal information you provide to us for the following purposes:
- To provide the services and support you require;
- To send you information or other forms of communication that you register for;
- To contact you for feedback on the website as well as on the services offered by HAI;
- To respond to any feedback or queries submitted by you to HAI.
We store this information in our CRM. Each record in the CRM contains company information such as a description of the organisation, names of staff, phone numbers, emails, the address of your company, the web address of your company and notes from meetings and calls.
Payments
All transactions are processed through a gateway provider Stripe and are not stored or processed on our servers.
How is non-personal information being used?
Non-personal information will be used to get an understanding of where visitors to the website come from. HAI uses Google Analytics to monitor traffic on the website so that it can manage the website’s capacity and efficiency. It also helps HAI to understand which part of the website are most popular and generally to access user behaviour and characteristics in order to measure interest in and use of the various areas of the website as well as to improve the website and enhance your online experience.
How long HAI maintains Member Data
We will generally maintain your personal data for the duration of your registration to the website, and for two years beyond that, unless otherwise requested by you. If you consent to receipt of marketing information, any information for this purpose will be kept with us until you inform us you no longer wish to receive it.
Sharing Member Data
Personal data will only be shared with trusted third parties including other data controllers where it is necessary for the performance of HAI’s duties as a data controller, or where you first give your prior consent.
