Wallace’s Homevalue Hardware and Building Providers are seeking to hire a Store Manager to manage the day-to-day running of all key functions of the Hardware, including trade, DIY hardware, yard & warehousing, deliveries. The successful candidate will report to the General Manager. This is a superb opportunity to develop your career in a growing retail business.
· The management of staff and customer service.
· Maintain high store standards.
· Management of stock.
· Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures in relation to Stock, HR, Credit Control and Health & Safety.
· Any other projects as assigned by the General Manager and Company Directors.
· 5+ years of experience in a similar role is essential.
· Knowledge of the Hardware industry is beneficial.
· Experience managing people is essential.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
