Mascot Workwear International Limited, is the Irish wholly owned subsidiary of Mascot a/s, one of Europe’s leading designers and manufacturers of workwear and safety footwear. Sales in Ireland have more than doubled in the last three years and a strong pipeline of growth is in place.
We have a new role based east of Athlone. The role is to open new retail distribution from the midlands to the east coast of Ireland as well as to develop and grow our valued customers in the same region.
Who you are: Young at heart with a strong work ethic, you will likely be currently selling or have experience of selling to independent retailers; hardware stores, agricultural stores, DIY stores and similar outlets. You will be self-motivated and have a successful and reasonably current trading relationship with the key people in these businesses. Although you have longevity in your employment record, you now want to further develop your career with an organisation that is professional, ethical, award winning. Experience in workwear and footwear is not neccessary as comprehensive training will be given.
Job Title: Retail Account Manager
Reporting to: Country Manager, Ireland and Northern Ireland
Close liaison with: Sales Director UK and Ireland, Customer Services Department, Marketing Manager, Finance Department.
Main role objectives:
To open new and profitable points of sale for distribution of Mascot clothing and footwear.
To develop and grow new distribution channels through agreed plans and regular visits.
To work directly with a portfolio of existing Mascot distributors in order to retain, develop and grow their level of business with Mascot.
To promote and sell newly launched products directly to new and existing Mascot distributors.
To promote and sell seasonal and other campaigns directly to new and existing distributors.
To promote, erect and merchandise Mascot “shop-in-shop” solutions and place point of sale material into existing and new distribution outlets.
To support the Mascot Sales Team at exhibitions and trade shows.
The position comes with a competitive base salary and uncapped commission based upon all sales in Ireland and Northern Ireland. There is also a target related quarterly bonus and a company pension scheme. The position includes a fully expensed company vehicle for business and private use up to 30,000 km per annum.
